The last thing you want to do is walk into a crowded gym where nobody gets how hard this can be for you, a loss mom. Where do you start? How do you begin?

You need someone to help you. Someone who gets-it and can help you put one foot in front of the other while you sort through the messy grief stuff.

My dear sister-in-loss, that’s EXACTLY what I do!

I’m Natalie Rensi, nutrition coach, personal trainer and mom to four amazing kids, including a stillborn baby boy. My passion is to help my fellow sisters-in-loss work towards their best health, one step at a time.

I‘ve spent a lifetime working out, striving towards my best health and helping friends and family do the same, but it wasn’t until I lost my son, Mac, that I realized how necessary being healthy and fit was. It was HARD to move my body when at times all I wanted to do was retreat from this world without my son. Even harder was trying to find someone who understood just how difficult and scary this was for me after loss. I didn‘t have anyone to help show me how to take care of me again. This inspired me to work with women like YOU, women whom have loss as an obstacle while striving towards their best health. That’s what I’ve been doing ever since!

Coaching for me, isn‘t about bikini body goals or even a number on a scale. (That’s all fine and good, but…) It’s really about SO much more. How we take care of ourselves… the way we think, eat and move has a huge impact on us and greatly influence our overall wellbeing INCLUDING how we cope with grief. As your coach, it’s my job to guide and support you as you make the changes necessary for you to achieve your healthiest mind, body and heart.

My 1:1 Coaching will give you compassionate guidance through a realistic plan so you can achieve a healthier lifestyle in a way that works for YOU.

Here is a little more about me beyond the biz…

I was born and raised in small town Maryland, now living in Ohio, home of THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES. (That last part was for my husband 😉) I’m a proud wife to a very funny man with exceptional dance moves. I have four children I love with all my heart. Hagen is my oldest son, a kind hearted, intelligent young man with wit that matches his father’s.  Suzie, my only daughter and second born, is full of fire and grace. Then there is Mac, my third, my sweet baby boy born still. He is the reason why I strive to slow down and be present in life. Not a day goes by I don’t think of him and wish he were here. And then there is Zane, my fourth kiddo, my rainbow baby boy and unexpected gift. He is the sweetest, most perfect little man.  They have my entire heart.

Before I became a personal trainer and coach in 2013; I spent 10 years as a nurse in a pediatric office. I was the nurse giving your kiddos immunizations, reassuring them if they were scared and taking your phone calls, helping you with your concerns. I LOVED my job, really loved it. Part of me will always be “Nurse Natalie.”

I love tearful laughs, messy buns, comfy clothes and a good thunderstorm. I love my family, challenging workouts (especially with heavy weights), guacamole with a side of chips and cherish the rare few moments I get to myself.

Life can be hard, but God is good and I’m thankful.
